Isla is climbing Pen y Fan in aid of VaccinAid
We did it
On 10th July 2021 we successfully raised £2,178 ( + est. £307.00 Gift Aid ) with 49 supporters in 28 days

We want to help those less fortunate than ourselves whom do not have access to a Covid vaccine around the world.

If you make a donation to UNICEF UK using Crowdfunder, you confirm you are aged 18 or over, and understand that UNICEF UK may receive information about you. If you choose to add Gift Aid to your donation this information will include your name, address and donation details, including any message you add. We will use your information to process any Gift Aid claim and for analysis purposes.

Taking care of your information is really important to us. We promise to keep your details safe and we’ll never sell or swap your information with any other organisation. Our Privacy Policy sets out how we collect, use and store your personal information.

Our 8 year old Isla is going to climb the tallest mountain in the south of Britain, Pen y Fan in memory of her beloved grandfather whom we sadly lost to COVID-19 in April 2020.
We are aiming to undertake the challenge in September (2021) with the aim of raising £1000 and with £25 worth of donations potentially providing 20 doses of vaccine, reaching our target has the potential to provide 800 doses and in turn helping 400 of the most vulnerable people around the world.
We hope to help other families from suffering the same grief of loosing a loved one to COVID as we have had to endure. We feel hugely grateful to have access to life saving vaccines here in the UK but are passionate about trying to give others in more deprived and harder to reach parts of the world the opportunity of safety that the vaccines offer.

Want to fundraise for this cause?

Donations made to UNICEF’s VaccinAid appeal will go towards UNICEF’s work to purchase and deliver Covid-19 vaccines, tests and treatment to bring an end to the pandemic. In the unlikely event that the funds raised exceed UNICEF’s funding requirements for this appeal, your donation will go towards the Children’s Emergency Fund.
